Talking Art | Lower Mountains
Roslyn Elms and Saskia Kremer
The Lower Mountains Talking Art Café met at Lindsay’s Café on 15 February. The event was well-attended, despite the lunchtime timeslot. One of the highlights was taking time to share where each of us is up to on our creative journeys and current projects.
The next meeting will hear from multimedia visual artist Dr Regine Wagner, whose toolkit encompasses photography, printmaking, sculpture, installations and incidental projects. Regine explores the intersection of nature, culture and the social. She will speak on her overseas artist residencies, including the Cook Islands (2011), Morocco (2015, 2017), Iceland (2017) and Sweden (2013, 2015). Later in 2019 Regine will be working in Dali, China. In this informal talk, we will hear practical information as well as a wide range of personal experiences.
The meeting will be held at Roslyn Elms studio,14 Watkin Wombat Way, Faulconbridge on Friday 5 April, 7–9pm. This should allow those of us who are working the opportunity to attend. There will also be time for the usual catch up and sharing and Regine will answer any questions you may have.
We hope to see you there!
