BMCAN Spring Exhibit @ the Edge Gallery

Blue Mountains Artist Network is pleased to present exhibitions at The Edge Gallery. The exhibitions showcase the work of diverse range of selected local contemporary artists – painters, photographers and sculptors. All works exhibited are available for purchase.

The Edge Art Gallery in located in The Edge Cinema Complex, 225 Great Western Highway, Katoomba. The Exhibition is open daily from 9.30am until 11.30pm. Pease come, have a cup of coffee and view all the art.

onSat 22nd Sept BMCAN opened its Spring Exhibition at the Edge Gallery which is in the Edge Cinema Complex on the Great Western Highway Katoomba. The space and the current exhibition are looking great thanks to the efforts of Deborah Sheehan and the exhibition committee.
Kicking off with an intro by President Graham Tribe there were then awards for the most Highly Commended works presented by Blue Mountains abstract artist Ruth le Cheminant, won by Greg Cliffe, Leonie Lyall and Marian Shapiro. There was then an interesting talk by Peter Damo explaining his process in producing stunning works such as his Cradle Forest, which is in the exhibition.
If you are going to the movies make sure you get there early so you can take a look or, hang around after.
